How it works
1. Design your portal
Pick your logo, colors and login method (SMS, voucher) from the Captivo dashboard.
2. Set the external portal URL
In Ruijie/Reyee EG → Captive Portal → External Portal URL, enter your Captivo portal URL (e.g. https://captivo.io/p/your-org).
3. Connect to RADIUS
Enter the Captivo RADIUS details into the Ruijie EG (Authentication + Accounting) and add Ruijie as a NAS client in Captivo.
4. Go live
When a guest connects, Ruijie redirects to the Captivo portal. Authentication happens over WISPr and records are kept for compliance.

How does Captivo work with Ruijie/Reyee?
The Ruijie EG gateway redirects the guest to the Captivo hosted portal page (External Portal URL). The guest logs in with SMS or voucher. The Captivo portal form posts the credentials over WISPr to the Ruijie gateway's login URL. The gateway authenticates them against Captivo RADIUS and grants internet access. No template download is required.
Is Ruijie support production-ready?

Any difference vs pfSense/OPNsense?
With pfSense and OPNsense an HTML template is downloaded and uploaded to the gateway. With Ruijie the portal runs hosted on Captivo; the gateway redirects the guest directly to the Captivo URL. The guest experience is the same (SMS, voucher, compliant logging) — only the technical integration model differs.
Which Ruijie devices are supported?
The EG series (gateway/router) models are targeted — these support external portal + WISPr + RADIUS. Reyee-branded EG210G-E, EG105G and similar models fall into this category. Omni and access-point-only models may not have direct RADIUS support — contact us to verify your device.
